Kambo application points on upper arm, symbolizing sacred and skilled medicine work

In the world of sacred medicines, healing is never a one-way street. As a practitioner, I’ve come to understand the deep importance of energetic exchange — not just as a spiritual concept, but as a real-world anchor for the work that takes place.

I’ve served Kambo in many settings — both in circles and one-on-one — and over time, one pattern has become clear: when someone has invested in their healing, they tend to show up more fully for the experience. They take the preparation more seriously. They listen to their body. They follow through with integration. There’s a sacred weight to an exchange that’s been consciously made.

I’ve also offered sessions at no cost, and while I’ve done so with a full heart, I’ve noticed that those experiences are sometimes taken for granted. The medicine does its work, but the lack of personal investment can dilute the meaning. An equal exchange helps the recipient recognize the value of the process — and often, themselves.

Circles vs. Private Treatments

Group circles are a beautiful way to experience the medicine in community. They’re often more accessible, and still powerful. But private sessions are a different container entirely. When I work one-on-one, I dedicate my entire day to that person. Sessions can run anywhere from 2 to 8 hours depending on what the frog brings forward. That level of presence, space-holding, and adaptability requires years of practice and deep intuitive listening.

If you’re seeking personalized support, private work is ideal — especially if you’re navigating trauma, big transitions, or complex physical symptoms. In these sessions, you’re not just paying for the time — you’re receiving my experience, my training, and my complete attention.

Why the Exchange Reflects the Work

As a practitioner, I’ve witnessed the transformative potential of Kambo firsthand. But this work doesn’t begin and end with the medicine itself — it’s a lifelong commitment. I’ve invested tens of thousands of dollars traveling to the jungle to sit with indigenous teachers and deepen my relationship with this sacred medicine. I continue to grow and evolve with these plants and traditions, and that dedication is reflected in the quality of care I offer.
